Another week flying by just like that. Not stopping to say a hello or a how are you. Time is a very selfish element. It minds it's own business - continuing covering seconds after minutes after hours, ignoring, being oblivious to it's surrounding elements that needs it to slow down and look around and be friendly.
Le sigh.
Being able to tell people you're in the third semester comes with a price. Of torture clinging too dearly to it. Architorture? Killertecture? You don't get to say it with glee, not entirely though - having the thought of the load of work at hand swimming clumsily at the back of your head while saying it isn't quite the gloriest thing.
I'm swamped. I usually 'try' to make full use of my weekends. Full use in the rejuvenation stance, because on weekdays it would be short of a miracle to have a slot labeled 'free time'. But no. This would be the n-th weekend I've spent doing work. Not that it's a bad thing, no. I'm piled up with work you can only see the tip of my nose. Interesting work though, I'd have to give that to my lecturers - they've managed to throw tasks afters tasks, projects after projects, assignments after another, interesting enough to keep us going.
Man, the temperature is going the extra mile to make me suffer a heatstroke. Shower shower.
I dropped my favourite hair scrunchie on the bathroom floor. I was thinking of applying the 5 second rule and pick it up fast but by the time I finished staring and contemplating whether or not to pick it up, 5 seconds was gone there. Haih.
So anyways, where was I?
Ah, work. The most recent crucial assignment that needed speedy completion would be the bridge and column. We're suppose to construct a bridge and column out of god-bloody flimsy sticks that can hold a load of 6kg and 10kg respectively while being economical with the amount of sticks being used. When I first got the assignment I was a tad bit worried having read somewhere that bridges are the hardest to design to function properly. And we were equipped with only sticks and structure powerpoint slides to work with.
But. Don't. Fret.
We've managed to construct one that can carry a load of about 8kg.
So yeah.
But the simple pleasures in life somehow tells me that tomorrow is going to be just fine. Just fine.
