Coffee shops remind me of you
the way you get so attached to yours.

My world spins out of control
You know it does.

Your posture that night
When you stood under that street lamp
with your arms out
reminded me of an angel
but really
just reminded me of you.

writing in a cheap notebook with a very nice pencil
